I was in Apt 11 which had been remodelled and was very attractive. The kitchen facilities were good including decent sharp cooking knives. Very rare in rental places and such a help for cooking. The location of the apartment was great. There was a decent IGA supermarket less than 5 mins away. The Southbank for theatre, galleries and free ferry rides was a 30 minute very pleasant walk with other pleasant central squares and attractions being closer. There are ample local parks. It's really well located for the Greyhound Bus Stop, bus station and Roma tube station. The staff at reception were very helpful informing me where to find the nearest supermarket and providing cleaning products and additional milk and tea as I was staying longer than the one night supply.

Great value for money given proximity to city and excellent location on the edge of the parklands. Set in a heritage listed area, alongside beautifully restored Queenslanders. A steep walk from Roma Street Station through attractive parklands to the hotel, but there is a free Spring Hill Loop bus service from Central Station that drops off and picks up outside the neighbouring Pacific Hotel just 100m away. Clean, tidy and well provisioned rooms. Ample, free, undercover parking for those who need it. Attractive and well maintained terraces and pool area, with great city views. The hotel is spread over several levels connected by steps, without lifts, so not ideal for those with mobility issues.

The location was perfect for us. Walking distance to Suncorp Stadium or to the city centre. There was somewhere along the way to stop for a refreshment, relax and soak it all in or go for a stroll through Roma Street Parklands. The grounds and gardens of the complex are beautiful and extremely well maintained. The apartment was clean and spacious with a good layout and balcony at the front and small balcony at the back off the bedroom, which was semi private. The apartment (15) we had was in the centre block 2nd floor, so we liked the view and it was quiet and not too much noise from other apartments. Free onsite undercover parking.
